Boone
[edit]Where is the citation for this being designed by Boone? https://npgallery.nps.gov/AssetDetail/NRIS/75001853, which is given as the citation, says it was by Elmer Fisher. - Jmabel | Talk 16:22, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
- Ah, I see, its in [1], cited later in the article. So are we confident that NPS is wrong? Anyway, I'll add that latter citation in the lede, since the sole citation that was given in the lede actually disagrees with what we say there. - Jmabel | Talk 16:26, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
- Primary sources have proven NPS data wrong time and time again I'm afraid. Same thing happened with the Grand Pacific Hotel (Seattle) where just about every common source thinks it was built in 1898. That's why I go to contemporary sources first. They've probably confused this one with the Austin Bell Bldg next door.Publichall (talk) 17:53, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
