cod4
[edit]is it a coincidence that the three lmgs given as examples are the three featured in call of duty 4, in which there is a perk called bandolier ? Machete97 (talk) 10:53, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
subsection or new article
[edit]Should there be a new section, or an entirely new article, for bandoliers of the carrot variety. I'm referring to the BoC's so prized around the end of a wootoff. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.223.42.130 (talk) 17:15, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Wording
[edit]I'm not very happy with the term 'automatic rifleman', which appears twice in paragraph three. It sounds too much as if there is also a 'manual rifleman' out there somewhere.
I think the phrase should be changed to something a little less like it has come from a computer game.
What do other editors think?

@RASAM: I'm happy with it as it is. It is an unusual sounding term, but seems fully justified when clicking through to the fireteam article. Ken K. Smith (a.k.a. User:Thin Smek) (talk) 19:14, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
Napoleonic Bandoliers?
[edit]Do the typical X-shaped sashes worn by line infantry in the Napoleonic Wars and earlier fall into the category of a bandolier or bandolier bag? If so, I would suggest adding an image of a line infantry uniform consisting of a bandolier, since line infantry usage of bandoliers would certainly be a major part of the history of bandoliers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.124.50.162 (talk) 18:39, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
