Balius Guérin 1857 (a handsome fungus beetle) is the replacement name for Olenus Dejean, 1835 n.n. ex Thomson, 1857, because the latter is a junior homonym of Olenus Dalman, 1927 (a trilobite).[1][2] Both its species, B. minimus and B. longanimis were later included in the genus Trycherus.[3]

Balius is also the name of one of the dogs that attacked Actaeon. I feel there should be a note in the article mentioning it or a disambiguation page. -RaidRexx (talk) 16:15, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
