Bagodine c'est un très grand village de tout son département , il se situe entre deux capitales régionales Aleg capital du brakna à 140 km et kaédi capital régional du gorgol à 25 km. Bagodine est un village habité par des cultuvateurs et des éleveurs et depuis la fin du colognalisme Bagodine fut l'un des rares villageois qui ont fait les écoles françaises et coraniques . C'est pour celà que dans ça commune Bagodine est toujours considéré comme le village qui a des cadres de haute fonction dans l'etat mauritanien . Je peux citer quelque exemple comme Ngam Lirwane , Ba Bocar Bachirou que la terre lui soit légère , Ba bocar Soulé , BA Houdou Bocoum Oumar .... il ya n a beacoup je ne peux pas tous les citer . Les catiers de Bagodine : Harlawo ,Déklé , Maloum ......
