Management
[edit]Prevention of further innoculation can be done by checking the mother plant for the presence of B. caryophylli. The most effective and widespread way of controlling this disease is proliferation of carnation cropping practices which consist of cultivating cut plants on elevated benches, and the usage of sanitary production system including the usage water that is checked for the absence of bacteria.
