Support – BTS' discography page is well over 160 kB, and should be split to new articles entitled BTS albums discography and BTS songs discography. The band has a hug output and the discography will grow pretty fast.--Lirim | Talk 19:31, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Support – But I prefer BTS albums discography and BTS ingles discography better.--88marcus (talk) 00:14, 2 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Support - It wouldn't really change the meaning or anything for the discography, although someone asked to make it 'singles' instead of 'songs' but all the songs charted aren't singles so it's better off to stick with BTS songs discography. Ukiss2ne14lyfe (talk) 00:44, 2 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Support - I believe albums and singles/ individual songs should have different pages because in their Japanese releases, especially, theres a bigger focus on singles than albums. I'm not sure if this matters for the two pages but there are differences in how they chart and charting criteria globally so having two pages would make charting successes ore clear. Btsediting (talk) 17:45, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Support: Page is already massive with no evidence of BTS' musical output slowing down. DanielleTH (Say hi!) 18:47, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Support: - Page needs to be split. It'll will be easier to find thing instead of having to search through 300+ individual songs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:CB:180:1BE:980B:E5F3:F022:7507 (talk) 03:26, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Revert

[edit]

An editor reverted a non-RS removal. Saying it was removed "for no reason." But that is incorrect. The reason is laid out in the edit summary. The removal was due to the ref not being an RS. Instead, it is self-published, without any editorial oversight. --2603:7000:2143:8500:94D2:447:CF44:F53 (talk) 00:25, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Record sales are missing

[edit]

only the sold albums are mentioned, but not the record sales (that would be every album, single and downloads). And when you count all the listed numbers (with execption of WW) on this wikipedia entry then it would be more than 35 million record sales and this should be mentioned at the beginning (just like on every wikipedia entry of a any music star or group). Or a new entry should be created for all sales. And the record sales should also be added on the BTS wikipedia entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robin7Robin (talkcontribs) 12:11, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This page is for BTS albums. A sales figure like yours can be added to the main article under Awards and achievements, if you can provide a reliable source for your claim.--Lirim | Talk 12:41, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Single albums"

[edit]

They're not called "single albums" - they're JUST "singles", which by definition makes them NOT albums. Why is this misleading misnomer being used? " Single album" implies a compilation of singles, but again, that's NOT what these are, they're purely singles. None of them have more than 4-5 3-minute tracks, for crying out loud. Then again, it's not at all surprising that the fans of such a vacuous, commercialised "band" know absolutely nothing about music or musical terminology. 1.157.95.133 (talk) 02:59, 31 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
