Design - rough seas
[edit]Thank you, Lyndaship, for warning the over-reverting members Shariar 375 and SRS 00 about 3RR. The argument does have substance, but the real problem is that neither editor gives a reference - indeed the whole Design section is uncited; neither is there any help from the ship class article. If this is indeed referring to official sea states, either could be true: "rough sea state" would mean Sea State 5, "rough sea states" would mean Sea States 5 & 6. If it is meant generically the phraseology should perhaps just be "rough seas". In the meantime, I've tagged the section. Davidships (talk) 18:35, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
Hello everyone, I hope you are fine. I have provided 2 official reference. I hope this will help the article. Shariar 375 (talk) 01:22, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
Mr. SRS 00 always keeps reverting my edit. Neither he updates any information nor let me to add anything with references. I have been following his contributions for couple of days. He just edits 1/2 times a day just to revert my edits. I simply don't know what to do. Shariar 375 (talk) 01:42, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
SANGRAM or SHONGRAM
[edit]At the moment this is a mess. Most sources have Sangram, but some have Shongram. The article in Bengali uses "সংগ্রাম" which seems to translate as "Sangram" (= "struggle"); however "শোনগ্রাম" is apparently "Shongram" and also means "struggle". Maybe these are regional variations of usage in Bengali? The Bangladesh Navy website doesn't seem to provide any clarification. The Prime Minister's Office, uses সংগ্রাম (Sangram) here. Subject to clearer guidance, my inclination would be to begin the article "BNS Sangram (সংগ্রাম)(sometimes written as Shongram) is a Type 056.....", and then use Sangram throughout the article.
