Shouldn't it say that he was born in French Indochina? as the Federation existed until 1952, and Da Lat was situation in a French occupied zone. --42.112.159.109 (talk) 06:36, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
- I guess what you said is correct, however, the French created the State of Vietnam (a unify of Tonkin, Annam, and Cochinchina territory) as an associated state in 1949 until 1954. So Da Lat is not completely in French Indochina but kind of leaning toward Vietnam. I'm not 100% sure so you can change it to French Indochina if you disagree with me. [edit]I have searched the Web in various ways, but I don't see any source off Wikipedia that supports the claim that Bao An is the head of the imperial house. Bao Dai's obituaries in The New York Times and The Independent say that he had two sons. This implies Crown Prince Bao Long and Prince Bao Thang, Bao Dai's sons by Empress Nam Phuong, are the only ones that are considered legitimate. See also VietnamNet.
The Nguoi Viet article cited in the reference section doesn't make any claims with regard to succession. In fact, it says that Bao Dai was not married to Bao An's mother. If we exclude Bao An from the succession, then Guy Georges Vĩnh San, a son of Emperor Duy Tan, is next in line. 99to99 (talk) 15:21, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
