OAS (Organisation de l'Armée Secrète) was a poltical group set by militaries ans rightist civilians to keep Algeria french in 1961-62 at the time of Evian negociation and independence of Algeria.

From the start, Binh Xuyen was a criminal organization related with prostitution and opium. During the Saigon upraisal of 1945, they massacred the French and Eurasian dwellers of the "Cité Héraud". Read the account of Ngo Van Xuyet.

Etymology
