Sourcing
[edit]This article is too reliant on affiliated sources. The Arts Centre Melbourne and the Vault's own website are obviously affiliated; The Broadsheet describes itself as a 'proud media partner' of the Arts Centre Melbourne, so is also affiliated. Whatson Melbourne allows people to submit their own listings - it's WP:UGC, and was probably written by someone at the Vault. I'm not sure about the reliability of The Music Network - I can't find anything about the editorial policies on their website, so I'm not confident that it isn't self-published. That leaves the piece in The Conversation which, since it is written by an academic in a relevant discipline, is reliable: it's the only solid reliable and independent source. More will be needed to demonstrate an WP:NCORP pass. Best Girth Summit (blether) 14:59, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
- I've replaced some of the references with Beat Magazine (editorial policy says they will declare "advertorials"), along with coverage in the Sydney Morning Herald and Herald Sun. Will keep working on finding some more. --Canley (talk) 23:48, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
- OK thanks - I've removed the tag. It would be better to say that a specific critic had praised it, rather than the vague 'it has been applauded'. Cheers Girth Summit (blether) 14:28, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
