Etymologies
[edit]The two etymologies given are almost certainly crap (sorry - no offence!). Old antiquarians often did such things. Auchen- is a common prefix meaning "field of the X" (Achadh (n)an X)--MacRusgail (talk) 20:28, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
