Column Discussion

[edit]

On 7 July 2010, I merged List of atmospheric radiative transfer codes with Atmospheric radiative transfer codes. For prior discussion on the list-article, see Talk:List of atmospheric radiative transfer codes. --Gerrit CUTEDH 10:17, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Maybe a column not only for scattering, but also for inelastic scattering could be added? 192.67.218.50 (talk) 20:12, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

- Recommend a column for "output types" (e.g., radiance, brightness temperature, jacobian, reflectance, emissivity, etc.) Jbenjam (talk) 12:41, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Better source for VLIDORT?

[edit]

I added VLIDORT from RT Solutions as it's being used increasingly in RT suites in place of DISORT these days but I am not sure which source would be best. I cited a recent paper on updates to both VLIDORT and LIDORT but there's also the slightly dated User's Guide[1]. I also am not aware of whether or not it has been used or tested for longer wavelengths if anyone would like to update that. 71.95.53.175 (talk) 19:21, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
