Expansion required
[edit]Requires more info on communities, geography, etc. There is more to the basin than just Uranium and an out-of-nowhere reference to dike swarms.
Turgan (talk) 20:35, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- If there's more to be added then why won't you expand it? You're a geologist. You're not alone, I've been waiting for improvements for Canadian volcanism for quite a while but I kept working on the articles and evently made some GA's (e.g. Mount Garibaldi, Anahim hotspot).... There's other articles that require more infomation, such as the Flin Flon greenstone belt. Black Tusk (talk) 07:17, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Production
[edit]How can it produce 30% of the world's uranium when Canada as a whole produces ~23%? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.33.230.179 (talk • contribs)
- 23% is Canadas percentage of world uranium reserves. Up until a couple of years ago Canada was producing 30%+ of the uranium mined, all of it from the Athabasca. I have updated it to reflect the most recent reports. Canada ranks 1st for production while only being 5th for reserves, or uranium "in the ground". Turgan Talk 11:52, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
