Associated-Rediffusion
[edit]Question ! Where did "Associated Rediffussion TV " fit in all this ???MB 23:46, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- You might like to read the article Associated-Rediffusion, or, for a more basic grounding in the subject, History of ITV explains the nature of the different companies. 3 of them had "Associated" in their name but they were all unrelated. ➨ ЯEDVERS 07:35, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Love Story
[edit]Question: I was a fan of the ATV Series 'Love Story' and especially of its haunting theme tune. Can anyone tell me if it had a title, who composed it and most importantly, if a recording is available? 58.170.5.120 07:17, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Closest I can get is from the BFI - the music was by Jack Parnell. Have you tried contacting these people as they tend to know about theme music from early ITV days? 〈REDVEЯS〉 14:06, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Confusion over the ownership history
[edit]I wonder if someone could help clarify this for me... The article states that ATV was created by the merger of ABDC and ITPC (ITC Entertainment), but later says that ATV and ITC become subsidiaries of ACC in 1966. If that is the case, how could ABDC and ITC have merged to create ATV if ITC was a separate subsidiary? What I thought was that after the merger, ITC continued to exist as a separate production company that sold shows to the newly formed ATV, but the article doesn't state that. Anyone able to clarify this?
Also, the ITC article doesn't have information about it, that is given here... Littler's ownership, some of the ownership details, Lew Grade's departure and subsequent return etc. Does anyone else find all this confusing!? Howie ☎ 21:08, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
ATV Anglia
[edit]Somebody has written some bogus about an 'ATV anglia' channel, stating it closed following the 1991 franchise round. I'm deleting it.fsdfsd (talk) 10:45, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- There is/was no ATV Anglia totally bogus, but I have seen a couple of websites that mistakenly credit ATV as standing for Anglia Tele-Vision,and not Associated Tele-Vision. One of them credits Anglia (ATV) as being the makers of Crossroads and the other has a credit: Filmed by ATV Anglia Television. Both websites are wrong of course.81.111.124.190 (talk) 16:36, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

ATV Today
[edit]There is a current website of this name (http://www.atvtoday.co.uk/) which says that it's part of the ATV Network (and ATV Today used to be one of their programmes). Does it have any connection with Associated Television? Or have these names been revived by someone else? Colonies Chris (talk) 13:49, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
