Transliterion

Seems to me not all readers are savvy in the ways of Japanese writing. Why usn't there Romaji for the album names? --Anon

The transliterations of the song titles were in a previous version, so I reinserted those into the article. It doesn't particularly make much sense why they were \\removed\\ in the first place. --Chris Love 00:48, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

Anime trivia

I realize this is trivial, but I have to ask... the opening theme in Full Metal Alchemist for the last few episodes (past the 40 or so mark) changes to a new opening theme, which to me anyway, whose lead singer sounds strikingly like AKG's. The opening changes to Rewrite by AKG at episode 41. The opening aired on adultswim prior to this was actually the 2nd opening not used for nearly as many episodes as adult swim played it. From what I understand, there was some deal to promote L'arc~en~ciel's song READY STEADY GO.

Vandalism

Right title

Why is there a redirect from ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, if that is the right title for the page. Note, it is not a technical restriction to have the page here, it is policy, and as such the template is misleading. Ansell 00:08, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Get rid of it then. I couldn't figure out any other way to say ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION was the correct name. o_o; Also, it's safe to assume someone made an article named Asain Kung-fu Generation before someone made one named ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION. urutapu 00:12, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Anime publicity

Why is it that the Opening for naruto is not mentioned anywhere? I noticed several mentions in the page histroy, but it seems to have fallen through the cracks.

Well, it's pretty unnecessary. The only reason FMA is mentioned at all is because "Rewrite" is the A-side and title track of a single CD, and "Haruka Kanata" isn't.—urutapu 01:04, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Copied information

I'm not sure why the Member profiles section has a history of the band when there was a history already as the first section. I may have missed small details but overall it seemed to be stating the same things as the History section. Should it be deleted? I took the initiave to delete the section but apparently it's considered vandalism. Oh well.

I would say so, there's no need to put the information twice. It also seems that a lot of the information that was added was directly taken from a website and done so in a poor manner. Sticking smilies and random plugs for the site in a lot of the article Kazuhara 19:29, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Removed Clean Up Tags

The page has undergone some rather large edits in the past few months and the tag was added in November of last year so I thought that it was rather unnecessary to have it anymore. Kazuhara 19:34, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Kanji/Kana

I added in kanji and kana for the songs and album names as well as the members' names. This felt a bit excessive, so I'm not sure if this is ok or not. --Wirbelwind 19:38, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Song Titles

Why are some song titles translated to english and some not (and some partially)? Anyone against me putting in the translations? CPitt76 03:50, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Overhauled album section

I thought the album section could be much improved by giving each album its own separate page, and then placing it all in a gallery. Probably the first large edit I've done, so I hope it's okay. H4cksaw 20:45, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Sorry to revert some good stuff, but I reverted it because it was using fair use album covers in a gallery which isn't allowed in this case. A better idea would just be to text link the album pages. 76.178.95.219 03:17, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Miscellaneous section

That is incorrect and blatantly stupid as well as slightly racist. The reason is that romajii text is usually capitalized in order to simplify reading for Japanese people, who might not know English as well and therefore could have trouble with lower-case letters. Nevermind, I read WP:MOSCL and WP:MOSTM which both say to change solid capitals into title case, so that's what I've done. H4cksaw 09:07, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

The first Asian Kung-Fu Generation album: 君繋ファイブエム is romanized Kimi Tsunagi Five M. Do we have any evidence that it is read this way rather than Kunkei Five M Typically Kanji#Readings compounds are read with their On'yomi reading which would render the title as Kunkei Five M.--Saul T 13:44, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
