Solo artist or group? Is either notable?
[edit]The one independent source in the article, the Winnipeg Free Press article,[1] refers to Ash Koley as if she's an individual, not a group. The MySpace page[2] says it's a group. My first question is, which is the article about? If it's about the group, then the biography of Koley the individual needs pared back.
The bigger question is this: the only real claim to notability of the group, and the major one for the individual, is putting music on the soundtrack of The Hottie and the Nottie. Is that really enough to meet WP:BAND? —C.Fred (talk) 16:56, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
The article is in fact about the band (Ashley and Phil), not the individual. It has been changed to reflect such. Additionally, more notability has been added, as the single "Don't Let Your Feet Touch Ground" has also begun to receive significant radio play in North America. Chart information as well as the band's appearance at the 2010 Lilith Fair festival will also be added in the very near future. Apanture (talk) 21:23, 23 June 2010 (UTC)apanture
- The group just released an album on the major label Nettwerk (home label of Sarah McLachlan) so that should help with notability. 68.146.64.9 (talk) 01:44, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
New album
[edit]I just bought the Inventions album at the Wal-Mart in, of all places, Kindersley, Sask. I didn't have a source to add but it's on Nettwerk records so if anyone doubts the information, it should be easily verified. Probably on Amazon.ca, too. 68.146.64.9 (talk) 01:44, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
Missing date of birth?
[edit]While we don't have an exact date, this article does mention her age (26, as of 10/9/2010), at least. Aurora Illumina 16:59, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
