I recently discovered that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asclepiadaceae is a very sparsely populated back bone of a section on Wikipedia. Wiki is a free on line encyclopedia. Dr.'s Loukie Viljoen and Fabio d'Alessi have a wonderful site, rich with features and accessories, and above all information. The comparison is appalling. Hoodia of course is there.

I am suggesting that those who have a mind to allow wiki to use some of their non-proprietary information, and have some time to do so, help the wikipedia section.

   * The process is easy.
   *  1) create an account - free;
   *   2) goto the above link;
   *  3)read, then choose a red (non-existent) link;
   *  4) once at the non-existent link, you will be asked if you want to create this page;
   *  5) (if yes) a gui editor will appear  - pictures are uploaded using the upload command from the side bar or simply refer to them and it will prompt u;
   * 6) use (edit) any page as a template.

I don't want this to defer energies from the fore mentioned work of Loukie, so I reluctantly add this here. There are several projects that interest me. Keeping information and knowledge for our progeny / posterity is one.

Please let me know if I am off base and over-stepping my bounds.

Thank you for your understanding, Willy -

BTW I will enter this for everyone to access in the d iscussion tab of the article.

For consistency with other Wikipedia articles, the non-Wikipedia links within the article should be moved to an "External links" section at the end. MrDarwin 20:55, 27 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
