FALSE INFORMATION
[edit]i am an alumni of this college,2009 pass out. The information provides in this page regarding placement and other issues are false, there placement record is not so good, all money made things are happen here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.194.209.184 (talk) 05:50, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for finally coming to the talk page to discuss this. So, can you provide some reliable sources to back this up? Please look at WP:SOURCES to get more details on what we are looking for. --Mr. Vernon (talk) 06:00, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
They said Telegraph provide them Ranking in 2009 for Top 10 college in WB, which totally false because in Placement section they provide data for only 2011 and 2012 and they HIGHLIGHTED in top section Data which is published in 2009. Any one using little logic can understand the trick what they played here.
And if Telegraph provide them Ranking based on PLACEMENTS on 2009 then i can say that year PLACEMENT was worse as a student i know it, many were un-employed and college TPO forced some students to provide some money to sit for CAMPUS PLACEMENT for a job,and later Students found THERE IS NO SUCH COMPANY .But college authority hide this data as usual. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.194.208.125 (talk) 06:28, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Well, the Telegraph did rank them in the top ten for 2009, there's an article which states this. Do you have an article that states that this ranking has changed at all since this was published three years ago? And we can't really use your word as a source, it needs to meet the SOURCES guidelines that I pointed to earlier. Perhaps a newspaper story covering placement issues with this particular institution? --Mr. Vernon (talk) 06:43, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
ALSO CHECK THEIR ALUMNI SITE is not working, as they don't have this site and No Alumni Association. College has no anthem and what ever they wrote is simply copied form popular Educational site Nptel videos. To listen these same lines please open this website nptel.iitm.ac.in/ and open any IIT Madras video recorded before year 2009. You will find what ever i have said.
The college authority is TOTALLY CORRUPTED, they provide money to made rankings etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.194.209.58 (talk) 06:46, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
No i don't have any such News paper because no Paper cover such things here, and this college is situated a Remote place where students are came Middle and Lower Middle class family. I am living here and i just checked their page in Wikipedia.after 4 years of my college life i just found it in wiki so i thought to provide some real data what ever i know. If it helps i will be happy. Most colleges in this West Bengal state run is same condition, people buy their Degree just because of money. Nothing to do.even they maintain Wikipedia page to enhance their business!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.194.209.58 (talk) 06:53, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- The onus is on you if you want to add sources to the article. I don't think it is fair for you to ask us to watch a series of IIT Madras videos, you need to cite which specific ones counter the cited claims made in this article. As far as the fight song, I would mark that as uncited. If the text on this page is copied directly from a website, you can tag that text as being a copyright violation and someone will look into it. I realize it may be unfair to you but we do rely on reliable sources at Wikipedia. If you feel that the page's contents are not WP:NPOV and there is COI there, you may wish to put {{help}} on your talk page and try to work with an experienced editor or admin who can assist. --Mr. Vernon (talk) 06:57, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
I am living in a remote place where no one can assist me other than internet and people are corrupted here anyway please check this video from youtube, just starting 1 minute song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwzYuhduME4&list=PL338D19C40D6D1732&index=1&feature=plpp_video
you will find same four lines completely copied that page and here is main Nptel site http://nptel.iitm.ac.in/. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.194.209.58 (talk) 07:03, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not getting which lines were copied, from either youtube or the Nptel site. In any case, Nptel has a Creative Commons license on their page. Please consider using "help" as I outlined; I am focused on counter-vandalism and there should be editors willing to help. Thanks for your time. --Mr. Vernon (talk) 07:11, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
The lines here College Anthem
'Om swaha na babatu swaha nau bhunaktu, Swaha biryam karababahai, Tejwaswina badhita mastu maa bwidbisabahai, Om shantih shantih shantih'
are completely copied from that you tube video starting anthem which is provided by Nptel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.194.195.219 (talk) 07:27, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- I have spent some time pondering this, and am still bewildered. You are saying that the college anthem transcripted here is also the same college anthem on the college's youtube videos? So? --Mr. Vernon (talk) 02:36, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
First of all this COLLEGE HAS NO ANTHEM . And what i said is The anthem which was copied from YouTube video is the anthem of "IIT Madras provided NPTEL videos",that anthem has NO LINK WITH THIS COLLEGE.Hope u got it.
another fact is People can Buy their Degree using money in this college.
