Comments
[edit]See my comment in the discuss section of Mefistofele. I oppose merging the article with this one. Other operas have independent pages. Why not Mefistofele.--FourthAve 00:49, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
- Absolutely agree. Never even realized there was a merge notice here until your edit popped up on my watch list. Articles on operas should never be merged with articles on composers. Antandrus (talk) 01:39, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
Link to Mefistofele's mp3-recording seems not to work.90.190.225.121 (talk) 18:16, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Name and pronunciation
[edit]I have often seen the name spelled Boïto, and I take the diaresis to mean that the "i" is pronounced as a separate vowel rather than as part of a diphthong, without being accented: therefore the pronunciation would be something like BO-it-oh. Unfortunately, I've never been able to find anything authoritative on this; but I'll suggest it here for further research. Skookumpete (talk) 23:45, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
