Note about article creation
[edit]Hi all, this page was originally a redirect to Culture of Yemen and has been converted into its own article by importing content I mostly wrote for Islamic architecture#Yemeni. I realized that the content there was substantial enough to form the start of an article for this wider topic. Since it was written for Islamic architecture, however, it does of course need further expansion on the topics of ancient (pre-Islamic) Yemeni architecture and maybe even on modern architecture, topics with which I'm not closely familiar. I've tagged it accordingly in the hope that interested editors will be able to help on that front. Cheers, R Prazeres (talk) 17:44, 7 November 2022 (UTC)
- PS: I have since added more on ancient architecture, but we're still missing a summary of modern architecture. R Prazeres (talk) 04:53, 13 August 2023 (UTC)

[edit]@R Prazeres This https://www.jstor.org/stable/1504639 might be helpful on the architecture of Hadhramout Abo Yemen✉ 18:24, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks! I might add it to "Further reading" for now, but mentioning any sources like this on the talk page is helpful either way for future work. R Prazeres (talk) 20:11, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
