Living?
[edit]Is this person still living? If not, can we add a referenced date of his death to the article? Thanks! VQuakr (talk) 18:30, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- Apparently he is still alive at age 96 in Ft Collins Colorado according to ussearch.com . I am working on more information as this is written. This is all that I have had time to do.Trojancowboy (talk) 23:14, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, for the confirmation! VQuakr (talk) 02:52, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- I cannot find his name in the SSI Death index at http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi which likely means that he is still alive. I will try to call a number in Ft Collins, Colorado that I have for him.Trojancowboy (talk) 01:32, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

Date and place of birth
[edit]Do we know these things?—S Marshall T/C 09:21, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- At age 96 he would have had to have been born about 1914. I have found a bit of biography in one of his books but have not had time to include it yet.Trojancowboy (talk) 09:34, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Official Army Photo
[edit]I have grabbed his official Army photo from his book but can't get past the hoops in the Wiki upload. Can anyone help me out?
Archibald Roberts info
[edit]I met Archibald Roberts and his wife in his Colorado home around 2003. He has atleast one daughter who went to college. He established "The Committee to Restore the Constitution" and "Bettsy Ross Press". He is a member of the very secret (and Old school) anti-nwo ELITE Council that included Eustace Mullins (now Deceased) and possibly Willis Carto (Membership is still secret). The C.T.R.T.C. still publishes a weekly/monthly bulletin to members/subscribers, but is no longer written directly by Archibald. Membership is $20 and you get a Membership card w/ number, along with a info packet in the mail. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.232.28.3 (talk) 07:00, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- Arch also had 2 sons to his 1st wife (at least one of whom, Michael, was still living in Colorado), and 3 sons to his 2nd wife, Dori, the one you met in 2003. They married when Arch was in his 40s & Dori in her early 30s (it was her only marriage). The sons to that marriage are Guy Archer Roberts, Charles Lancaster Roberts, and Zachary Roberts (I apologize, I am forgetting Zach's middle name at the moment). Both Guy & Zach were married and living in Whittier, CA, in the 1990s; Charles was living in Northern Virginia & working as a librarian in DC. At that time, I was engaged to & lived with Charles for a couple of years, got to meet Arch & Dori on a few occasions & spoke with them often. Arch gave me a signed copy of Victory Denied. The book was severely damaged in an accident, but I was able to save the page with his note to me.
- Concerning the Committee to Restore the Constitution, I once asked Arch, "if the Communists have infiltrated every American institution, then they have to have infiltrated the Committee to Restore the Constitution, too, right?" He said, "Yes, it's me." He cracked me up. That family went through some very hard times during his dismissal from the Army, waiting on his case to be heard. It was not easy to fight the government. Charles told me that he would have to trap rabbits - he was a very little child, but he had to help kill & skin them. Arch's family fought hard to survive while he fought the Army. But Col. Archibald Roberts vs. Cyrus Vance was a landmark case.
- Arch Roberts was a salt-of-the-Earth kind of guy. For as given to right-wing ideology as he was, he was not an ideologue or iconoclast. He would not have followed any, either. He was very highly intelligent, as were his children. Charles was a National Merit Scholar & went to St. John's College for his undergrad degree, first in Santa Fe, then in Annapolis (that means he's literate in ancient Greek & Latin, at least). He also had a Masters in Library Science.
- Arch Roberts was a very interesting man, soldier, American, and human being. His biography would be an interesting story. Kelelain (talk) 23:26, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
