Ethnicity

[edit]

@বাক্যবাগীশ: So there have been two additions to the article lead so far - at least that I have seen - about Arati Saha being Bengali. I don't really think it's necessary. P. V. Sindhu isn't called an "Indian Telugu badminton player", and Viswanathan Anand isn't called an "Indian Tamilian chess grandmaster". I get why this stuff was added, ethnic pride and all, but is it really really needed? The rest of the article makes it abundantly clear she's Bengali anyway. @Wilhelm Tell DCCXLVI: I don't see any mistake in this issue. If there is a problem with the Wikipedia policy, you can delete it by specifying the actual cause, not compering with the other page. Regards. বাক্যবাগীশ (talk) 13:39, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
