General Union of Syrian Women
[edit]Are there any reliable sources stating that the General Union of Syrian Women is the women's wing of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party – Syria Region because I don't see anything suggesting that in its article.
By the way, could it be possible that the women's wing is actually the General Union of Syrian Women Organization and for that matter are they even different groups? Charles Essie (talk) 16:36, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
Far-left
[edit]Some of the sources considering the Syrian Baath as far-left seem to be talking about the pre-1970 Baath (some of them are themselves pre-1970). MiguelMadeira (talk) 00:07, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
- As far as I can see, all the sources talk about the party's political position in its early days. In present day it's obviously not far-left. The "far-left" description should be marked as "historical", but I don't know what exactly its current political position would be. Litawor (talk) 10:51, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
