[edit]Arab Republic of Libya → Libyan Arab Republic – To move the page name to the correct definition. D4rkeRR9 (talk) 14:39, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- Merge back to History of Libya under Muammar Gaddafi#Libyan Arab Republic (1969–1977), not necessary to split these articles yet. Secondly I feel it's usually more helpful to readers to just use "History of X country (XXXX–XXXX)" even if countries temporarily adapted a new official name – Thjarkur (talk) 15:56, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- There is nothing to merge, this was simply copied (without attribution) from the previous page. A non-history page would be useful, but that would require new text rather than just copying somewhere else. CMD (talk) 12:10, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- Delete If this is just a cut and paste move I don’t see any need to keep it. Mccapra (talk) 16:02, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
- Well, it's easy enough to check that CMD above is correct, it's a blatant copy-paste. The proper action to be taken is thus to redirect to History of Libya under Muammar Gaddafi#Libyan Arab Republic (1969–1977) and I will do this very soon unless someone presents a serious argument against this here. - Redirect per Lennart. Lettlerhello • contribs 14:32, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
Closed move discussion as there is a clear consensus that this copy-paste article should redirect to History of Libya under Muammar Gaddafi#Libyan Arab Republic (1969–1977) (which it now does). Lennart97 (talk) 14:48, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
