[edit]Hi. Yes this award is notable. It is a $1000 award and is part of the Manitoba Publishing and Book Awards. Please do not delete, as you can see that this links to other Wiki pages and is a unique page.

- Perhaps it should be merged with Brave New Words: The Manitoba Writing and Publishing Awards then? It doesn't look like there are any third-party references to warrant a standalone article, and the possible conflict of interest doesn't help either. --Kinu t/c 01:07, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
I just added several good references. I suppose it could be merged with Brave New Words, although that entry is pretty weak and needs a whole re-write. And as far as the COI thing goes, I think it's great that you're trying to keep Wikipedia clean, but this article is very objectively written I think. (More so than this anyway: McNally Robinson) If I had signed in under a different account name, we wouldn't be having this discussion, but I purposely chose AquaBooks so there would be no confusion.
