Page Numbers

[edit]

Why are there page numbers quoted in this article? I think they need to be removed.

Page numbers were added to indicate sources for various statements (which had been challenged).Michael Fourman 06:36, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How High?

[edit]

Apparently 8 floors, but no height given; if 100m or more it may be a skyscraper (the only one in Edinburgh?). Though the commonest definition of Skyscraper is 150m or more, there is a Category:Skyscrapers between 100 and 149 meters Hugo999 (talk) 02:00, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can't find a reliable source for height, though the most recent renovations did heighten the building a bit by extending the top to encase telecoms equipment. From the planning permission drawings it is now about 52m? But I can't find any suitable exact figure that could be cited. Various sources seem to erronously list the building as 11 storeys pre-2017, when it should be 10 (8 upper storeys, the ground, and the 'basement'). An extra storey was added onto the roof in 2017, so if you include the basement (which is really a lower ground floor, and now includes the pavement level main entrance) then the building is now 11 storeys.
