Comment: Wouldn't the sentence in the first paragraph "The city bears great historical significance as the..." read more accurately as "The city bears 'recent' historical significance as the..."? "great" in this context is certainly a judgement. 'Tragic' might be another more appropriate adjective. This is not to try to lessen the recognition of the sacrifice of the people involved but to lessen the political nuance inherent in the word 'great' in this context.50.53.20.80 (talk) 16:09, 19 July 2017 (UTC)William Bjornson
