Israeli?

[edit]

Relating to Israel on the page at present:

So it appears that Nossik had some connection with Russian-language journalism or blogging in Israel, but otherwise no mention of Israel in the page content at present. Nor is there a page in the Hebrew Wikipedia. This requires reconciliation. -- Deborahjay (talk) 19:07, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This source states that he "was born in Moscow and moved to Israel in the early 1990s". That makes him an expatriate, at least. I think the confusion lies in that he died at a friend's home in Russia. — Wyliepedia 20:33, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Clearly a period in Israel of unknown length, but his notability comes from his activities in Russia where he was born and died. I think we risk getting in to the very dubious "dual loyalty" argument applied to Jews if we continue down this path. Philip Cross (talk) 20:51, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
True, I think the Category:Russian Jews is sufficient. — Wyliepedia 22:17, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Assassinated?

[edit]

I was really not a fan of Anton Nossik. He was a real demagogue. But I can't help but assume that Nossik was yet another victim of Putin.

They are all functioning alkies there. And here too. Alcoholics and also on all kind of pills, and still kicking. But this 51 year old just died of heart stop? I am serious. Putin caused this. --KpoT (talk) 11:18, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
