Proposal of incorporation
[edit]This list and the Federation of the Left are the same thing. Two pages for one coalition are useless, this page should be incorporated to Federation of the Left --Maremmano (talk) 19:22, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- They are not the same thing, but I'm not fully against your proposal. Do you have sources supporting your claim? Many thanks. --Checco (talk) 14:17, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- Substantially they were the same thing, for example we have not two pages for "Sinistra e Libertà" and "Sinistra Ecologia Libertà". In fact SEL is an evolution of "Sinistra e Libertà" and the "Federation of the Left" was an evolution of this list. Moreover i think that "Anticapitalist and Communist List" wasn't the official name of the list. Unfortunately there aren't sources that says it, but two pages on this federation are useless. I will unite the pages --Maremmano (talk) 22:34, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
- Your reasoning is about to convince me, but I still think that two pages are the best solution. --Checco (talk) 07:57, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
- @Checco: "Anticapitalist and Communist List" was not even the official name of the list, it was only an informal name. For me the best solution is certainly a merged article, two pages in this case are useless--Maremmano (talk) 21:13, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
- I know that it was the informal name, but it was also the most commonly used. As already said, I don't see any particular reason for a joint article, but I'm not strongly opposed to that either. Hopefully other users will tell us what they think. --Checco (talk) 07:51, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
- I continue to not see the reason to having two pages for the same federation, it is only dispersive. Moreover, an informal name for a political subject seems me inappropriate--Maremmano (talk) 22:24, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
- One was a list, the other a federation: I would keep the two subjects separate. Informal names are often article's names. --Checco (talk) 11:32, 15 July 2014 (UTC)
