Maybe merge it with Anti-terrorism_Act,_2015? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aganon77 (talkcontribs) 04:39, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree with the idea of merging the two articles. They are two very distinct pieces of legislation. Although the law has passed, the new government has promised to revisit it, and there is hope the 2015 version will be repealed. On the other hand, it would be extremely helpful to help differentiate the two by renaming the "Canadian Anti-Terrorism Act" page to "Anti-terrorism Act, 2001" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Laurelrusswurm (talkcontribs) 20:39, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I also oppose merging the articles on the two Acts. They deal with the same general issue, but they were passed 14 years apart. As well neither one is asrand-alone Act. They each amend or enact other laws. I think it would be confusing to lump them together. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 12:40, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Disagree because it is a very notable topic in Canada and definitely merits its own article. NikolaiHo☎️ 00:54, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Disagree: Both of these articles are noteworthy in their own way. The Anti-terrorism Act, 2015 was in response to the 2014 Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu ramming attack and the 2014 shootings at Parliament Hill, Ottawa, not 9/11. Both of these articles should link to each other but should remain separate. -- Kndimov (talk) 21:30, 15 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
