Some additions to your article by Ann Marie Saidy, sister to Anthony Saidy, from bio written by Anthony himself.
[edit]Saidy won the American Open Championship in 1967 shortly after a 2nd place finish in the Atlanta US Open, and repeated that win in 1992 in a 4-way tie.
The Bobby Fischer stay at the Saidy house in l972 on his way to the World Championship was covered in a popular book, Bobby Fischer Versus the Rest of the World, by Brad Darrach.
A fourth book written by Anthony Saidy is the March of Chess Ideas.
A very interesting, well done documentary of Bobby Fischer, Bobby Fischer Against the World, features Anthony as a prominent spokesperson and confidant. Ann Marie Saidy (talk) 19:04, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
