Why?

[edit]

Why does this page exist? Animal Man has extensive discussions of the character's publication history. I am not seeing what is gained by having a separate page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nickpheas (talkcontribs) 15:47, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This page allows more detail to be explored about the character's titular comic only, whereas his larger publication ( and the greater part of his history) includes several less prominent appearances.Erikacornia (talk) 02:40, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that it allows for that, but until someone takes that on, it is not that. In the year and a half since Nickpheas's question, it has become a near-duplicate of much (but not all) of the information on the Animal Man page. Erikacornia, do you care strongly enough about having a separate page to add some unique content? ShaneCarey (talk) 20:20, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I simply think the distinction between Animal Man (the character) and Animal Man (the titular comic book) is a valid one. There may be a way to integrate the latter into the former, but no, at this time, I'm not the one to do it, and have no problem using both pages to answer my Animal Man questions.Erikacornia (talk) 15:26, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

British Invasion

[edit]

The claim that almost all of the writers and artists were part of the British invasion is patently incorrect. Chas Truog, Jerry Prosser, Tom Veitch, were all American. That makes the main artist for half the series non-British, and half the writers non-British. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.107.162.109 (talk) 23:10, 10 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
