Clarification needed

I've added a number of Clarification needed templates. The use of millimetres as a unit of altitude is clearly nonsensical (i.e. Vigorous growth also occurs in elevations between sea level and 980mm). I would have removed the term isohyet and simplified the language, but I now not confident whether the author really intended to use rainfall range (in millimetres) or altitude (in metres).
