On the Patents section
[edit]It seems to me that many of those patents are actually filed by others who share the name "Andrew Ng" - for example, the text and audio patents from this link are actually by Andrew Ng who works at Genesys. I don't have the time or energy to go through each individual claim but I'd wager most of them are incorrect. (I'm also well aware that LinkedIn is not a source to prove this claim). Should the section be removed altogether? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.137.77.23 (talk) 15:32, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
Machine learning God
[edit]Andrew Ng is a pretty cool guy. Eh teaches machine learning and isn't afraid of anything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.250.8.222 (talk) 17:00, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]Google Scholar identifies 2 papers with 1000+ citations and over 20 papers with 100+ citations. The Wikipedia notability guidelines note that these counts may be off by a factor of 2. But, they are still quite substantial. Also, he has won 5 best paper awards (2 overall, 2 application, 1 student). Jrennie (talk) 20:39, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Origin
[edit]How is he 'Chinese-American' if he's born in the UK? Seems like 'British-American' or just 'British' or 'American' would be much closer to the truth.
What does this mean?
[edit]“Ng is one of the scientists credited with bringing humanity to AI” sounds vacuous, and I can't find anything in the source that says anything like it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.131.205.111 (talk) 20:18, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
Could someone add the pronunciation of his name in the lead (especially the surname)?
