[edit]Moved from main page: …It should be noted that after the closing of Miami in 1873, and until the repening in 1885, Judge Fergus Anderson, by virtue of his presidency of the Board of Trustees, became Acting President. If this section lists other acting Presidents, probably it should list Judge Anderson here as well. He would be the second Miami President of that name.
