Failed AFD

Bias in NYU tenure section
[edit]I believe the article's description of Andrew Hamilton's tenure at NYU feels unbalanced to me. The majority of the description is currently spent condemning his initial tenure as disastrous, owing to a decline in one source of university rankings. Beyond being a questionable benchmark in itself (especially when not compared to other rankings, see e.g. ARWU, which puts it on its 2011 level: http://www.shanghairanking.com/World-University-Rankings/New-York-University.html), I believe the section as it stands is far, far too harsh, particularly given the limited evidence and extremely limited influence over it during his eight-month tenure. - Agreed, and the sourcing is also poor. I have deleted the final section. Jonathan A Jones (talk) 19:37, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
