The normal order of adjectives in English is as follows: Quantity or number. Quality or opinion. Size. Age. Shape. Color. Proper adjective (often nationality, other place of origin, or material) Purpose or qualifier.

This means that "former" a quality should come before "Italian" a nationality. This does not imply that he is no longer Italian. as implied by the reversion of my edit moving "former" before "Italian." Ksnow (talk) 14:07, 20 January 2021 (UTC)Ksnow[reply]

It makes sense since that is the order of adjectives we were taught in school. I always wondered where the word "former" fit in. So if a person is still a kid, you would say a former child actress, not a child former actress? Fyunck(click) (talk) 03:03, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
