Bible?
[edit]There is obviously a mistranslation in that pasage. Christ sought refuge in egypt, when Herod was slautering the sons of Isreal in an attempt to remove threat from "his" throne. Similar to moseses "plight" yes however christ recieved refuge and the pharoh was not killing all the first born jew sons. Similair but to the same incident. Kind of like two car wrecks on the same milage of highway but with different cars invovled. Egypt is NOT gamora, and Gamora is the litteral translation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.14.131.239 (talk) 23:31, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Ancient Egypt in Western science fiction
[edit]I was surprised to find this article without so much as a passing reference to Stargate or The Fifth Element. 67.188.158.244 (talk) 01:49, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

Horror cinema
[edit]Much like the fellow who was surprised to see no mention of science fiction, I was surprised to see no mention of mummy-related horror and adventure movies, whether we're talkin' Boris Karloff's Imhotep, the more recent Brendan Fraser films, or the Mummy of Ankha, who wanted that coin from Scooby Doo. This is a good article, but it could be awesome...the connection to art deco alone could go on and on and on.... PurpleChez (talk) 15:05, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
