American Horror Story: Cul-de-Sac
[edit]Do NOT rename this page "American Horror Story: Cul-de-Sac" until the sub title is officially revealed. "Cul-de-Sac" is just a rumoured name. Currently, the only cast members confirmed are Peters, Paulson, Eichner, Lourd, Porter and Grossman so please don't add anyone else without a source. And welcome to the Talk Page of AHS7. Upcoming 'Cult' episode titles
[edit]Spoilers T.V has had the first four episode names up for awhile now and they just released five-seven. Obviously they know what they're talking about and they match the futon critic which is a credible source. Basically is Spoilers T.V a creditable source and if not, can we still use their information since they obviously got reliable titles. http://www.spoilertv.com/2017/08/american-horror-story-episode-705-707.html?m=1 Changeisgame (talk) 13:24, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
- Read WP:RS and you'll know why SpoilerTV can't be considered a reliable source. - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 14:02, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
Generally positive reviews?
[edit]"Critical response: American Horror Story: Cult has received positive reviews from critics."
When you look at the professional critics on Rotten Tomatoes it states 11 critics like this season but 9 critics say it's rotten. That's definitely not "generally positive". And is it completely irrelevant, that the audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is rotten with only 54%? For comparison: The audience score on RT for American Horror Story: Asylum has an audience score of 87% - which is really "generally positive". 81.173.169.163 (talk) 21:57, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- It seems that Metacrtitic translates nearly all negative reviews into mixed reviews. Read them. 81.173.169.163 (talk) 22:45, 10 November 2017 (UTC)

Lead Section Too Bland
[edit]When compared to the top lead sections of other season of American Horror Story, Cult is extremely bland. In previous seasons pages, there are three, if not four total paragraphs in the lead section. These paragraphs include a brief plot description, sometimes brief production description and even statements from creators. For example, Hotel's lead section includes a paragraph for returning cast members, a detailed plot description, background on production/filming, and a detailed description of accolades for the season. While Cult only has two measly paragraphs dedicated to airdates and returning cast. There is not even a mention for the Emmy nominations for Sarah Paulson and Adina Porter. Why is Cult the only season not to have a well-developed lead section? I believe it is unjust and the lead section needs to be developed. Either every season of AHS should have a detailed lead section or none at all. 98.113.156.38 (talk) 03:09, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
- As you can edit the page yourself, why don't you make a bold edit to, in your view, make the lede less bland? I appreciate on Apocalypse that you needed to ask an editor to put the table in, as there the page is protected, but this article isn't protected. And don't worry about making typos, mistakes etc.; it's very easy for another editor to sort it out. WP:LEAD may help you with this edit. TedEdwards 12:43, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
- I made my edits as suggested. Hopefully they can be improved upon. Last time I made a bold edit, it was very similar but reverted back almost instantly. Please feel free to improve upon. 98.113.156.38 (talk) 20:29, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, there was barely anything wrong with you additions to the lede, the only problem as such was saying Paulson, Peters and Porter were praised for the performances, as it didn't say that anywhere in the main body of the article, so per WP:LEAD had to be removed. On that note, you don't have to source anything in the lede as long as it cited in the main article, hence I removed the source. I also thought it might be a good idea to state what Paulson and Porter's Emmy nominations were. But thanks very much for that edit, and don't ever let your bold edit being reverted put you off doing any more bold edits, Wikipedia would not grow without them.
