HELP! Verify/clarify relationship to ASTM.
[edit]After a grand total of five minutes of surfing the web, I concluted that ASTM color references are the same as AATCC color references, and from there made the (barely supported) inference that AATCC is somehow related to ASTM. If you are knowledgeable in the area, please expand or correct this. I added this to the article based on weak evidence only because I fairly sure I'm correct, and the rose madder article references "color Index" with no link. If my addition is incorrect, it is not very incorrect, and I feel that this is the best place to fix it. -Arch dude 01:57, 13 January 2007 (UTC).This is completely inaccurate. AATCC and ASTM are separate organizations. They cooperate on certain projects but the Colour Index is not one of them. The Colour Index is a joint publication of the Society of Dyers & Colourists in England and AATCC in USA and has been since 1956. The correct spelling is Colour.

[edit]Would Fabrictramp please contact me so I can get some help organizing and making this entry more neutral. I've made attempts to do this, but more is probably needed. Dyewebber (talk) 15:15, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
