@InfiniteNexus: The film is not just about the heist. Most sources call it an action-thriller because that's what it is. It combines action genres (heist + chase) and fits the definition of an action-thriller: Featuring guns, explosions, elaborate, and apocalypse set pieces, ... these films often feature a race against the clock [and] lots of violence ... I 100% agree with you that this film is an action-thriller. However, heist film is a more specific and accurate sub-genre of the aforementioned action-thriller genre, and the film clearly fits the definition of a heist film as well, as noted above. The entire plot of the film is centered around a heist, and that includes the two-hour long chase sequence. The entire plot of the film is centered around a heist. This is not true. The beginning is about the heist, the rest is about the police hunt / relationship between the brothers. Again, I'm not disagreeing with you that this film is an action-thriller. Heist film is a sub-genre of the action-thriller genre. For example, Star Wars (film) is labeled as a space opera, but that doesn't mean the film isn't a sci-fi film. Heist films chronicle the planning, execution, and aftermath of a large robbery. Genres of Ambulance ranked from the most specific to the most generic: chase film → heist film → crime film → action-thriller film → thriller film → action film. Because there is no article on chase film, heist film is our best option. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:12, 13 April 2022 (UTC)

Hi, I have begun reviewing the article and just finished with the entire Production. Though I'm happy to announce that this section mostly pass the GA criteria, I feel like the following texts fail criterion 2b for being either unsourced or failing verification against source provided:

*In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic in Los Angeles affected Bay's career and canceled his plans to shoot his next film, Black Five. He recalled telling his agent "Goddamnit, I just want to get out and shoot something fast. I'm tired of being locked up at home".

• The production also hired real trauma surgeons, firefighters, SWAT teams, snipers, and 52 LAPD officers for the shoot.

Deliberately Ignoring a MOS like WP:FILMCAST at a WP:GA Is a Bad Look

I'm looking at you Some Dude From North Carolina. There is no justification to not use Eiza Gonzalez's credited name from the film, especially as not doing so actually increases reader confusion (e.g. the poster art at this very article spells her name "Gonzalez" not "González"). And sources at the article look to be split about 50-50 on the spelling. In that case, the "tie-breaker" should go to the film's credits.

Not doing, and ignoring WP:FILMCAST this strikes me as a WP:IDONTLIKEIT kind of edit. Consider this my objection to not following the credited name. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 01:07, 30 May 2022 (UTC)

Hello. The "á" and the "a" are different letters and a big difference for Latin speakers. Her name has the "á" so I would use the "á". MOS:TYPOFIX says typos can be fixed. Yeah, no, that's not right at all. In fact, this is someone who goes by two names. This is why WP:NOTBROKEN exists – because, for example, there are actors who have gone by more than one name over the course of their career. The fact is Gonzalez and her agent control how her name is spelled in crediting – IOW, they deliberately chose to have her name spelled Eiza Gonzalez in the credits (i.e. the American English way) rather than as Eiza González (the Spanish way). Note that she has been previously credited using the American English spelling before, e.g. recently in Hobbs & Shaw (though that article is also not following WP:FILMCAST on this). Bottom line: This is clearly not a "typographical" error, but is a deliberate choice on Gonzalez, et al's part to spell her name "Gonzalez" in American English-language film roles. We should be following WP:FILMCAST here, not substituting the preferences of Wikipedia editors over Gonzalez, her representation and the film's producers. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 14:59, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
