I propose that this article be renamed to Amaravati River, as it is the most common modern spelling, and is phonetically correct. Imc 11:08, 15 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Rename Amaravati as Amaravathi

Most sources have the spelling Amaravathi, not amaravati. Even the Tiruppur district website mentions it as Amaravathi. I'll wait for any comments and then move the page after a week.Jonathanarpith (talk) 14:10, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
