[edit]This could really use a map of the route from Toledo to Boston. Anyone care to make one? --63.160.95.13 20:04, 7 October 2005 (UTC)
- That's one of my long-term plans. I currently have the route traced from Chicago/Toledo to around Pittsburgh - P&WV has a section. I'd also like to show the NKP to St. Louis.
- By the way, do you know where the "Alpha Jets" actually went? Did they go to Boston or just to Maybrook for a transfer to NYNH&H trains? --SPUI (talk) 13:05, 8 October 2005 (UTC)
Map done. I'd like to add state lines but that would be too much of a hassle at this point. --SPUI (talk) 20:55, 9 October 2005 (UTC)
What I can find
[edit]Bellevue had to transfer from one train to another, as there was no connection pointing the right way. They would have used the Bellevue Yard.
5-22-1950 Philly-Chicago and Philly-East St. Louis second morning service began
1-1-1955 Philly-Chicago TOFC (trailer on flatcar) service began
Can't find anything about it even going to Jersey City (in the PRR Chronology) but I know it did. --SPUI (talk) 23:22, 8 October 2005 (UTC)
Another question - what yards did it use? I got some of them in the article, but I can't figure out the Chicago or St. Louis yards, for instance. --SPUI (talk) 00:35, 9 October 2005 (UTC)
