  • You have a tag in the begging of the article due to overuse of non-free material. You don't need 3 samples, use only two.
  • You can leave the sample of the single "Only Imagine" and one of the other two.
  • "Bless Me Indeed (Jabez's Song)" is one of the faster songs on the album → "Bless Me Indeed (Jabez's Song)" is one of the fastest songs on the album
  • "The final two songs on the album, "All Fall Down" and "In You", are slower–paced songs, with the latter being led by piano and strings". → "All Fall Down" is not supported by the source
I missed that while reading the article, sorry. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:02, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Critical reception and accolades

[edit]
  • "particular praise being given to "I Can Only Imagine"." → particular complement being given to "I Can Only Imagine". (avoid repetition of vocabulary)
  • "Losey also noted the "guitar nuances" of Scheuchzer as being similar to U2's The Edge, and praised the Byrson as [placing] intense but subtle keyboard traces within the context of each tune". → you missed to open the quote.
  • While Woodroof felt the album did not deliver an innovative sound, he said it "offers a breath of fresh air—and a sincerity sure to hold other artists wishing to dive into the genre accountable". → While Woodroof felt the album did not deliver an innovative sound, he complemented as offering "a breath of fresh air—and a sincerity sure to hold other artists wishing to dive into the genre accountable".
  • The word "felt" is over-used. Replace some "felt" for sensed, perceived ...
  • "In its 25th anniversary edition, CCM Magazine listed Almost There as one of '100 Albums You Need to Own'. At the 33rd GMA Dove Awards, "I Can Only Imagine" won the awards for Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year. CCM Magazine ranked "I Can Only Imagine" as the fourth-greatest song in Christian music" → In its 25th anniversary edition, CCM Magazine listed Almost There as one of '100 Albums You Need to Own'. In the following year, the previous magazine, ranked "I Can Only Imagine" as the fourth-greatest song in Christian music. At the 33rd GMA Dove Awards, "I Can Only Imagine" won the awards for Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.

Some issues here:

Overall GA review

[edit]

@Toa Nidhiki05: one of the best articles I have read here. I wouldn't have done better myself. Address the issues here and it will be granted GA status. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 12:19, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

All changes should be complete now. Toa Nidhiki05 01:47, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Toa Nidhiki05: not quite yet. reference 25 and 59 should have the same publisher so "Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)" for both (only link once) and reference 1 and 2 redirect for the same page as 6,7, 8, and 9. Remove the Tag "may contain excessive or improper use of non-free material" on the top of the article, as well as the mixed and positive review scores from the "score box". MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:53, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, those should be fixed now. Toa Nidhiki05 14:53, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You miss the first issue I raised, after that has been addressed it will be raised to GA. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:35, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I can't modify the one from the template, so they both just have Recording Industry Association of America now. Toa Nidhiki05 18:58, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Gladly passing now the article. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 21:02, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
