Is Labour really "centre-left"?
[edit]Describing Labour during the time of the Alliance as "centre-left" is like describing ACT as centre-left. From 1984-1990 Labour's economic policy had been dominated by people like Roger Douglas and Richard Prebble, who later left the party to found ACT in 1993. The economic policies of the 1980s and 1990s were not publicly repudiated by Labour politicians until 2017, at which point it became arguable that they are on a centre-left party. - Reliable sources, please. You will find an equal number of editors who also fancy themselves experts but argue to your contrary. Yue🌙 04:27, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
