Orphaned references in Allamuchy Township, New Jersey
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Allamuchy Township, New Jersey's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 20:54, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

[edit]A family seat for the decedents of Walter Rutherfurd[33] and Senator John Rutherfurd, Rutherfurd Hall was designed
- This seems to imply that Winthrop's ancestors called Tranquility and Allamuchy their main base of operations when they were all over NJ and NY. How can John Rutherfurd who died in the early 19th century have his seat in a manor house not built until 1902 after his demise? Last I heard, he wasn't Jeremy Bentham stuffed and still showing up for board meetings. And, quite frankly, the Rutherfurd line doesn't form around Winthrop, at the time he built RH, there were 2000 Rutherfurd or Rutherford descendants--includind decedents. Nevermind that Winthrop, who built Rutherfurd Hall, considered himself a "Virginian"...so much for a "family seat".--JackTheVicar (talk) 16:00, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
