I disagree. While the article, as presented, is a list of stations, which mirrors the YouTube videos, I think there's a role for an expanded article, which looks at the lines traveled. There's a lot missing from YouTube that Wikipedia could pick up.

I believe if necessary, the section on the list of episodes can be moved to a separate article. The overview can also be expanded, with more mention to the people involved. EdwardLinZK (talk) 06:59, 15 September 2017 (UTC)EdwardLinZK
- Article creator here. Yes, indeed I originally planned to have the list of episodes on a different page. Then got bored and cba! There's still some stuff to be added indeed. This is quite worthy of its own article, there's a huge amount of reliable sources on it. My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 07:03, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
- I removed the PROD notice. Obviously that's a legal manoeuvre.
Your "starting" and "fininshing" stations on SO MANY of these entries are completely wrong - Chandlers Ford to Hove for example, completely wrong! They started at Eastleigh that day, and ended at Portmsmouth. This is why we should remove these columns and just get the stations that were visited correct. Rhlon (talk) 23:06, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
I've not done a comprehensive check of the list, but the northern half of the Fife Circle (Rosyth to Glenrothes) is missing. Tevildo (talk) 22:07, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
@Blue Square Thing: Since we have a section for Stations opened subsequently and mention five others, it seems perverse not to include WOP. Cavrdg (talk) 17:54, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- They're the stations that we know have been visited and for which videos have been released. In other words, not speculation - it's probable that neither have visited WP (or possibly not Robroyston or the other one) but we don't actually know that - just that videos haven't been produced yet. It's probably better to wait until we actually have something that we can say about them. Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:10, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
Episode lists
[edit]Any reason that the episode lists rely on absolutely NO concrete information whatsoever? Is there a place anywhere on the internet that states this information? If not, it should be removed. 46.208.194.81 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:17, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, there is. The map on the All the Stations website states what day the stations were visited on. I'll add it to the article. Tvcameraop (talk) 17:59, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
- The map doesn't actually work though. It takes you to http://allthestations.co.uk/stationlist/ which shows you a map of the UK. At no point does it give you all the markers...? 46.208.194.81 (talk) 19:18, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
- It does work. You can use the map filters to select "Date visited:" which then shows you the list of stations visited on that day. Here's the actual map link. Tvcameraop (talk) 19:28, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
- But it doesn't. I select something from the right and no markers show. Sometimes it just focuses on one station - if I can't use it then it can't be verifiable as something to show all of the episode lists. 46.208.194.81 (talk) 07:40, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
- Ah right, I think I get what you mean. I'm on mobile today and can't check, so if someone else would confirm that would be appreciated. Tvcameraop (talk) 09:17, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
- The map isn't working perfectly just now, that's true. But tbh it was when the data was added - it was a fair source for such things and, despite my tendencies not to like massive tables, this isn't a bad thing to have here. We don't delete things just because a website went off line and we can't find an archive version; there seems no real reason to do so here either. Blue Square Thing (talk) 09:24, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
- IMHO it should stay with the objective of it being tidied up. Regards --Devokewater@ 11:27, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

- To come back to this issue, an IP has, as I'm sure people have noticed, been extensively editing the list of stations over the last few weeks. I've left a note on their talk page, but the most recent edit concerned me as the map shows that two stations were logged as visited on 25 June, yet in this edit they added in Cardiff Central and a total of three stations. I've not yet reviewed all the other edits, but have serious concerns about this editing pattern and the ways in which the lists are being manipulated. Blue Square Thing (talk) 11:54, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
- More edits by the same IP, seemingly based on obvious WP:OR (i.e. watching videos), that contradict the numbers documented on the map. I've repeatedly asked the IP to comment on their talk page but they have failed to do so. I'm minded to bulk revert everything done by them in the next 24 hours unless I get some sort of comment from them or someone else objects to that approach. Blue Square Thing (talk) 13:54, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- After more of the same and silence here, I've reverted to the last stable edit. Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:28, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
Just Visiting?
[edit]To be clear, if someone is to visit All The Stations, do they not only have to be on a train that stops at all of the stations - but also alight from that train to have a look around the place travelled to? 2.30.22.137 (talk) 15:50, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
