Nomination for Deletion
[edit]I second this for deletion.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.103.21.30 (talk • contribs) 12 July 2011
Subject lacks notability, article is un-encyclopedic, and most of it is unverifiable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.152.208.148 (talk) 15:10, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Unverifiable? Really? Some of it is verifiable (clue: Use Google) but it does not seem to be particularly well-written. It needs to be very heavily edited, but deleted on the grounds that it is not verifiable (when some of it was verified by a quick Google trawl) is a bit rich. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.208.114.13 (talk) 15:42, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
I also nominate this for deletion, or a complete re-write. Clearly a fanboy wrote this in the hopes of garnering some favor with this bullish magnate. Reads like a childrens book. Lane —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.51.197.66 (talk) 08:32, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Much of the information is incorrect. Alki David just contacted me himself and said,
"George David is not my father. He's my uncle. My late father is called Andrew A. David."

I've asked him to help me go through and correct the article, but I'm still waiting for a reply. --Thebeefytaco (talk) 05:50, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
Undoubtedly, Thebeefytaco simply asked him some questions about his life via social media, and received a typical, terse response, stating that the specific info was incorrect. Much of the information is correct, and was sourced appropriately from reputable journalistic organizations (i.e. the NYT). There is no need for Beefytaco to try and gain credibility by being ignored on justin.tv or whatever, as if Alki himself wishes to correct the article, I'm sure he can type just as well as the next bloke, with or without your input. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.51.197.66 (talk) 22:43, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
A great deal of information is not present. What with the recent events of the 'Billionaire Challenge' on YouTube, he has gained much notoriety, many of the events should be added.. It should also be noted that he does not plan of streaming an assisted suicide, it was a dark joke. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.16.69.16 (talk) 11:37, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
The assisted suicide thing has actually, to my knowledge, been proven to be a joke.
Needs to be re-written and sources must be scrambled, if the guy said some information is incorrect, he have to delete it solely due to the lack of factual and verifiable information. --75.159.2.59 (talk) 05:16, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Alki David is NOT a Billionaire. But some claim his extended family may be worth a few billion. Forbes Magazine turned down David’s “application” for the Forbes 400 for lack of documentation. Please change any reference to “billionaire” to “wealthy” DaveFromBoca (talk) 02:04, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: The article does not say he is a billionaire anywhere. The only mentions are a sentence in the lead, saying his previous claims were false, and a sourced estimate of his family's net worth (followed by a note about him not being a billionaire). Jamedeus (talk) 02:43, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
