Assessment
[edit]This is a great start to an article, but there are a few things I would like to see before it is assessed above stub.
- It is still quite short... now, that is understandable, considering the young age of the subject. She isn't old enough to have much of a background or biography, but anything that you could expand on would be nice.
- Wikification... While the article has a fair amount of useful information, it seems to be broken up and just added randomly. I would like to see the information a little better organized, with headers (Lead paragraph, Biography, Chess record, References), etc., and the external links removed from the body of the text.
- References... while having references listed is an excellent start, the next step is to cite them inline. This allows the reader to know exactly where you got each bit of information.
I would be more than happy to re-assess the article for you once these minor issues have been rectified. I think you have at least a good solid start-class article, if not a low C. Feel free to leave a message for me here (on my watchlist now), or on my own talk page, if you need help or have any further questions... - Adolphus79 (talk) 14:15, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
I thank you for remarks to article. I am not so skilled in a writing of articles. Has made editing taking into account your wishes. Time I will hear your opinion on necessity of the further editing. Lead paragraph has not understood as to do.--OldenChess (talk) 13:24, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
clarification needed
[edit]Consider [clarification needed] tag: in the sentence "where she won first place in the general offset[clarification needed]" a "general offset" means that competion was among boys and girls together not only girls as in other cases. In Russian it's "общий зачёт" but I don't know the specific English term. --Koryakov Yuri (talk) 11:05, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
It's open tournament.--217.170.114.135 (talk) 19:36, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Article images
[edit]I removed the "At the Tula Kremlin" photo due to concern about excessive photos in this discussion at WT:CHESS. But I restored the World Youth Champ. 2010 photo, and the photo from the 2009 Moscow Open, as they seem relevant to their topics, and there is nothing wrong with them. - Quite fine. However I will probably nominate this article for deletion anyways, since I have waited a week, but no one on WikiProject Chess has mentioned any reasons why she meets Wikipedia's notability standards. ChessPlayerLev (talk) 19:31, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
