A fact from Alexander Curtis (British politician) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 3 May 2018 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that on his election in 2017, Alexander Curtis was thought to be the youngest mayor in Europe at only 20 years old?
This person does not need their own wikipedia page. There are thousands of Town Councillors in England, none of whom are prominent enough to justify one. Many of the references come from the individual's own Twitter account, and I suspect this page was put up as an act of self-promotion. In support of this allegation I reference the fact that this page was put up in 2014, when this individual was 17, and could not have even been elected (to the often uncontested) positions.129.67.119.103 (talk) 14:16, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
